International container ships station themselves in the Burrard Inlet and English Bay off the shores of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada while awaiting docking time in the city's port. English Bay lies west of the downtown Vancouver peninsula, which separates the bay from Burrard Inlet connecting to the northwest, and False Creek to the southeast. Point Grey on the south and Point Atkinson on the north form the bay's entrance from the Strait of Georgia.

These Cargo ships are just as much as part of the landscape as the West and North Shore mountains of BC. They are in every sunset and sunrise in Vancouver this has been our backyard for years and we've been fortunate to captured many surreal scenic photographs. Every photograph in this gallery has been geotagged, click the info icon on the bottom right to discover exact location of the capture.
